Valcourt, Quebec, October 27, 2025 – Can-Am, together with South Dakota’s Second Century Habitat Fund (SCHF), are excited to announce that their joint fundraising campaign has raised more than $150,000 to support wildlife habitat conservation and the preservation of South Dakota’s cherished grasslands. That amount will directly impact more than 2,500 acres of land.

The initiative centered around a raffle for a 2025 Can-Am Defender MAX Limited, custom built for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, which Can-Am donated. The campaign ended this past weekend during the South Dakota Governor’s Hunt in Sioux Falls, where Can-Am joined Governor Larry Rhoden, his SCHF group, and business and community leaders to celebrate the shared success and commitment to conservation.

Funds raised through the raffle will directly support SCHF’s mission to conserve and expand grassland habitats across South Dakota, a critical effort that benefits wildlife, landowners, and outdoor recreationists alike.

“We’re incredibly proud to see what this collaboration has accomplished,” said Jeremi Doyon-Roch, Director, Global Marketing, Can-Am Off-Road. “At Can-Am, we believe in giving back to the landscapes that inspire adventure. Helping raise more than $150,000 for habitat preservation is a powerful reminder of what can happen when the outdoor community comes together.”

The raffle drew strong participation from outdoor enthusiasts, landowners, and conservation advocates across the U.S., all united by a shared respect for the land.

“This was more than a raffle – it was a statement of shared values,” added Liz Kierl, Executive Director, Second Century Habitat Fund. “Every dollar raised will go directly into improving South Dakota’s grasslands and ensuring that our state’s outdoor heritage continues for generations to come. We’re so grateful for Can-Am’s participation and for everyone involved.”

This campaign represents Can-Am’s broader commitment to conservation and responsible recreation across North America. From South Dakota’s upland prairies to backcountry trails nationwide, Can-Am supports efforts that protect the natural spaces that make off-road exploration possible.
